April 2nd is designated as World Autism Awareness Day, which is celebrated worldwide with the Light it up Blue event. On this day, central buildings and historical monuments in the capitals of various countries are illuminated in blue and many awareness-raising and information events are held. On this day hundreds of buildings around the world are lit up BLUE to participate in the event.
It is a global effort to end the discrimination suffered by people with Autism. Like the blue of the sea , the blue of the sky , the blue that symbolizes Autism, embraces the skills and talents of autistic individuals shedding light on the dark side of isolation and marginalization.
